Abstract


Law of the Republicof Indonesia Number32 of 2009on Environmental Management, has seta cumulative imprisonment and criminal fines as the principalpunishment against perpetratorsof Environmental Criminal which can becoupledwithmeasuresRulessanctions (maatregel). Objectives TheoryandBenefitsPunishment (ultilitarian theory) is deemed appropriate tobe appliedin the protection ofthe environment.
