The Relationship Between Organizational Health and Knowledge Creation at the Jordanian Civil Service: Leadership as a Moderator Variable
Abstract
The study aimed to identify the relationship between organizational health and knowledge creation in the presence of leadership as a moderating variable in the Jordanian Civil Service. The study population consisted of all employees in the Jordanian Civil Service, totaling (220,851) employees, and the study sample size was (689) employees, drawn as a simple random sample. The study followed the analytical-descriptive approach and used hierarchical multiple regression analysis. The study used the questionnaire as a tool to collect data and information. The study reached a set of results, the most prominent of which was the existence of a statistically significant relationship between organizational health and knowledge generation, as well as the existence of the same relationship with the moderating variable (leadership). The study put forward several recommendations, the most prominent of which was working to enhance institutional integrity, develop leadership capabilities, and the necessity of integration between leadership and knowledge management strategies
