The Effectiveness of the Question as a Means of Parliamentary Oversight over the Governmental works in the Jordanian Constitutional System

Abstract


Parliamentary Questions are an important means of parliamentary control over the work of the government in the parliamentary system. The member of parliament (MP) used the questions to ensure the government is accountable to the parliament for its policies and actions or to ask a minister regarding an issue within the jurisdiction of his ministry or draw the attention of the government on the one hand, and public opinion on the other hand to the existence of errors or deviations in performance Government.
