Diet during Cardiovascular Diseases

Abstract


Cardiovascular diseases are the 1st case of death globally. More people die annually from these diseases tan from other causes. People with Cardiovascular diseases are high risk due to the presence of one or more risk factors such as HTN. DM2. Hyperlipidimia or already established diseases. Most of these diseases are prevented by addressing behavioral risk factors such as tobacco use, unhealthy diet, obesity, physical inactivity and harmful use of alcohol. Some of functional foods like garlic, flaxseeds, soybeans, oats, and omega 3&6 fatty acids may also helps to prevent the heart diseases.
