Abstract

In this study, linear attenuation coefficients was measured using EDXRF (Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer) of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), Al joinery, shingle, wallpaper, drywall (vinil krolam), emery paper, chrome plate, laminate flooring, tile, silicone sealant, cement (strength of 28 daily pressure=32.5-42.5 and 52.5 MPa), fat paint and galvanized sheet, wood, thermal insulation boards, hardboard, brick, aerated concrete (ytong), MDF (medium density fiberboard) and andesite coating such as various construction materials. The results obtained are intended to contribute to the radiation safety.
