Global Economic Process Approach to the Right of Political Parties in Turkey

Abstract


The globalization of the economy can be regarded as the internationalization of free market economy, competition, production and consumption relations. These internationalization traits began to penetrate societies as a phenomenon of globalization since the end of the Cold War in the 1990s. It is widely accepted that one of the priority areas of globalization is economy. Therefore, there are different approaches to the evaluation of aspects of globalization from the theoretical and practical point of view. These different approaches, which can be attributed to increased cross-border interdependence and the integration of money markets, are also manifested in the political positions of political parties. In this context, the political parties' problems arising from the global economic system seem to be extremely important for them to come to power and / or to stay in power. Working in Turkey representing the right-wing politics, and in many respects has similar grassroots Located in parliament, which is made out of two political parties JDP and the NMP samples. Thus, it is aimed to see whether the approaches of these two parties to the global economic system reflect the interconnection processes of the political parties. In this context, a study was conducted using questionnaires and structured interview methods. Thus, it was observed that the political parties following policies compatible with the global economic system followed more linear policies with their party bases and they were more successful in general political processes and policies.
