Abstract

Users need get to access to the information in electronic environment quickly, correctly and appropriately, different methods of classification and categorization of data are strictly needed. In this study, multilayered perceptron artificial neural network model is used to classify the web sites in open directory project (DMOZ) according to the specified subjects. With the application developed, it is seen that artificial intelligence can be used for developing smart software on internet. Classification of web pages using neural networks enables to reach correct information quickly.
