Abstract

In this study, some biological parameters of Myzus persicae were carried out on four different pepper varieties (Demre 8, Kandil, Yuvacık and Kapya). When we examine the total development period, the shortest Yuvacık cultivar (5.0 days) and the longest total nymphal growth period were determined on Demre 8 (6.60 days). When the longevity was compared, it was found that the longest Yuvacık cultivar (15.50 days) and the shortest on Kapya pepper (10.0 days). When the biological parameters of M. persicae were examined, it was determined that the varieties with the lowest rm values were in Kandil cultivar and Kapya, Demre 8 and Yuvacık varieties respectively. When the Ro values are compared, it is seen that the lowest value is obtained in Kandil variety. When the To values were examined, it was determined that the lowest value was obtained in the Kapya variety, followed by Demre 8, Yuvacık and Kandil varieties.
