The Use of Ultrasonic Washing Technology in Denim Fabrics

Abstract

With the discovery of ultrasonic wave, ultrasonic systems have been used in many areas of life. One of these areas has been cleaning which started to develop with human history. To date, new methods have been developed. With these developing methods, ultrasonic washing technology was developed simultaneously. In this study, the use of developing ultrasonic washing technology in the fields such as industry, health, and jewelry sector is investigated. In this study, denim fabrics were tested as a textile product. The classical washing method and the ultrasonic washing method were compared experimentally. From the experimental data obtained, it was determined that the ultrasonic washing method yielded more effective results than the classical washing method and it was found to be economical and environmentalist and it was presented by the study.
