Perception of Space Modernity and Postmodernity Transformation Process

Abstract

To understand the concepts and formation processes of a subject; it requires understanding of the factors that directly and indirectly trigger factors and development processes. As Guirvich points out ‘nothing can be explained by itself ’. It is necessary to pay attention to the concepts that reveal the period of modernism, the formation processes and the background perceptions that form. In this study, considering the social processes that triggered the emergence of the issue, the effect of actual change on the perception of space will be focused. While the subject of change and transformation processes in space perception will be examined, the subject will be examined with the elements that trigger this issue in the background. The study will be deal with this basic reference and will focus on the historical process that prepared the modernity, and also the processes called postmodernity periods which emerged in the modernity and later, and the transformations in the spatial production processes and their social changes.
