Pre-service EFL Teachers’ Perceptions of the Role of Ipad in Language Learning
Abstract
The availability of information and communication technology ICT tools in Jordanian classrooms increases, but the fact of using those tools continues to be low. The study was conducted to determine the perceptions of pre-service EFL teachers of the role of the Ipad in language learning and included 100 pre-service teachers’ in AlZarqa university. The quantitative method was applied in the present study. The data was collected through a questionnaire developed to determine of perceptions of pre-service EFL teachers’ of the role of Ipad in language learning. All the items in the questionnaire were analyzed using the SPSS. The results revealed that pre-service (EFL) teachers’ perceptions about the role of Ipad in language learning has medium level, and there are no significant differences due to gender variability. Also, the recommendations for future studies were offered.
