Creative Jobs that Become valuable in 2019

Creativity is on the rise and 2019. Job market proves that this could be a great year for creative executives and employees.

Growing demand for workers in a creative sphere affects their salaries accordingly. It may be the right moment for a breakthrough in a career through promotion or getting a new job.

Let’s have a look at some great paying jobs you might want to switch to in 2019.

Creative Jobs That Pay Well

Creative jobs nowadays often mix with tech-savvy stepping away from a classic notion of artists, writers, and performers.

  • Technical and Creative writers

Technical writers often have tasks to make complex things understandable to common people and users. If you are good at grasping precise essence of technical data produced by your company and translate it into eloquent language for common people, stay on the lookout for great offers this year.

Interpretation and translation of corporate documents also may bring good income for people talented at localization of the content. Companies increasingly move towards global production, and willing to pay above average for creative language skills.

It is tougher for creative writers to achieve stable incomes, but they can land some great projects. Being sensitive to change can help you to stay posted. Try defining your strongest spheres and publish various ads. Sign up for freelance resume writer jobs or novel writers for children. Applying a creative approach to job search like no one else is a large part of your success.

The average salary is estimated at $70K/year for technical writers and $65K/year for translators.

  • UI/UX design

It’s a great way to apply problem-solving skills and creative thinking. UI and UX interact with end users in a unique way as defined by companies.

Some large corporations or those with high monthly output hire UX research for deeper and broader dive into many current trends of digital interaction. Researchers are expected to know sociology or psychology and marketing. They need to define a portrait of their end user, their needs and how to impress them through service with a concentration on digital interaction of course.

It seems like taking a narrow path from an initial UI/UX designer. But research itself, if necessary, has enough validation to stand out as a separate branch. Relying on in-depth research of UX is wise. It allows experts to develop through multiple directions.

Being a constituent with jobs for creative people, this one includes constant briefs with different teams and even focus groups.

Often designers are in demand in the digital agencies. They can either pick up single projects or work their way up in a company with a constant output.

Statistic data shows the average salary estimated at $80K- $90K yearly for UI/UX designers and researched and around $128K for the leading positions for this department.

  • Art director

This position encompasses marketing and technical knowledge too. Tasks include searching for the artistic line of a digital campaign. SEO and copywriting knowledge also play a large role in succeeding art director.

Even small teams of creative conceptual agencies offer great opportunities to grow and develop as art director. In the world where the audience has already seen everything, catching public attention is merely an easy task. This is when the artistic solutions come in handy.

The estimated average salary is at $85K/year.

  • Marketing

Marketing used to work as a combination of analysis, research, and creative process. Now that the data-driven decisions are basically an open source, the struggle for attention is real. This is when creativity helps.

Not only winning type of content works. Everyone uses it. But companies have a chance to make themselves seen or hear through creativity.

This department also includes branding that has the same problems of making the brand seen or heard through the constant flow of other brands.

Sometimes, it means quite risky decisions that go far beyond the comfort zone of the target audience.

This is when the PR department steps in with wise countermeasures.

A range of average salaries within the department:
CMO — $168K/year
Creative director — $111K yearly
Marketing director — $108K/year
Marketing analyst — $93K/year
Brand manager — $90K/year.

  • PR experts

PR department works closely with marketing teams, often being a sub-department. Often, the PR director takes care of communications on behalf of a large company or its executives.

PR department also deals with crises invoked not only by the marketing team touching the wrong nerve of a public, but also by the private lives of high-profile executives and corporate decisions.

PR director earns an average of $95K yearly. Media directors get $100K yearly.

Why Creativeness Matters

Amidst the development of AI, working people are worried about keeping their jobs. Inventors talk of automation of many manual processes and analysis of data for human-like conclusions.

Looking out at prospects, creativity is listed as a skill of the future. It’s highly unlikely that computers are going to recreate or automate inventiveness any time soon. Practice thinking out of the box and find ways to feed your creativity for a constant flow of original ideas.

How does technology have a positive impact on education?

Nowadays thanks to the rapid development of information technology (IT) and the continuous increase of information needed for work, computer teaching becomes widely popular. E-learning courses and systems have been developed and successfully used in the educational process; methods and results of their use are investigated and analyzed. Scientists are constantly developing and offering new, more advanced methods to significantly improve the quality of education and intensify the learning process.

First, the Internet gives students the instant access to knowledge. Modern schoolchildren are able to “Google-it” when they have questions about the learning material. Search for additional information on the Internet helps to expand the amount of knowledge that gives the textbook. Besides more and more educational online-services like Pro-Papers appear in the web. Such websites provide help in self-learning and make it easier and faster to do the homework.

The introduction of electronic encyclopedias, which are analogs of reference and information books, has become common today. Thanks to these digital resources, children quickly find the right information instead of searching the right word from books. In addition, electronic directories can contain audio recordings or video clips that help children create a complete visual picture of their new knowledge.

A system of virtual experiment has become widespread in primary schools. Children like this game and cognitive form, which provides an opportunity to conduct an experiment that would be impossible for reasons of safety and finances. In addition, virtually conducted experiments provide an opportunity for students to study the ongoing process much more extensively compared with the traditional method. Such a laboratory encourages schoolchildren to experiment and enjoy their own inventions.

Especially useful are computer games when teaching kids. Therefore, an editor was developed that allows you to create game situations, use them both independently, and include them into computer tutorials. In creation of the editor and software for games were used Flash, PHP, XML and MySQL technology.

Multimedia computer technology allows replacing almost all traditional technical teaching tools. In many cases, such a replacement turns out to be more efficient, makes it possible to combine quickly various means that contribute to a deeper and more conscious assimilation of the learning material, saves lesson time, and fills it with information. Therefore, it is quite natural to introduce these tools into the modern educational process. Multimedia means allow us to provide the best implementation of the principle of visibility, in comparison with other technical teaching. In addition, multimedia meant to be the effective support tool for game forms of the lesson.

The newest and most interesting technology for younger students is virtual and interactive excursions. In contrast to the traditional excursion, this species is distinguished by its availability, multiple reproducibility of the interesting moments, and independence from weather conditions. Although, a virtual tour, of course, does not replace the personal presence, it provides an opportunity to get a complete picture of any object. During the virtual trip, a student can choose the route himself, look around, maximize or minimize the desired object, look closely at interesting interior details, view the panorama from a distance, walk around separate rooms.

Today, distance education technologies are actively developing. Consider some structural elements of distance learning:

  • Lectures (in real time, with control elements, with video elements, with audio elements);
  • The study of resources (Internet resources, electronic media, paper media, texts including illustrations, video, audio, animation);
  • Independent work on the scenario (searching, researching, creative, etc.);
  • Conference chat;
  • Forum conference;
  • Collective project work;
  • Individual project work;
  • Training exercises;
  • Learning using special training systems;
  • Tests;
  • Consultations.

By varying combinations of such “bricks”, a network teacher can create lessons of various types – depending on the age of children, on the degree of their activity and independence, on the specifics of the subject, etc.

In distance learning, a teacher leads each student by the hand. A special learning environment makes it possible to comment on the work of each student, to make recommendations for correcting mistakes – to work with each child until the task of learning is completely solved.

Positive results are given by the introduction of computer technologies into organizational processes in many educational institutions. It should be noted that many programs have been created for students’ and personnel evaluation, test tasks, any blogs, and websites with information for students, etc. Many universities have implemented data collection programs for graduate employment. This is very convenient and incredibly useful software, because all information is stored in the same portal with access for not only university professors, but also applicants, students and graduates themselves.

The capabilities of this system are following:

  • Data collecting about the employment of all students and graduates;
  • Letters of recommendation from the place of work;
  • Generation of statistical reports in quantitative and percentage values for various parameters and combinations;
  • Vacancies of leading companies, which will be very useful for the effectiveness of the university students and graduates employment.

Currently, in connection with the development of computer technology and modern means of communication, when their use becomes necessary in almost any field of human activity, the need of information technology in education is obvious. New technologies are firmly implementing into our lives; the degree of their influence on the younger generation has noticeably increased. The virtual world occupies an integral part in student’s surrounding reality. Whether the use of modern technology will become an impulse in learners’ development or not depends on adults, especially on teachers.

In What Ways Does Globalization Influence Education?

“There are numerous ways in which globalization has affected learning. While it started in the west, it has transformed the entire world. It has led to the emergence of information technology and has also caused economic competition in many countries.”

There are numerous ways in which globalization has affected learning. While it started in the west, it has transformed the entire world. It has led to the emergence of information technology and has also caused economic competition in many countries. Its impacts can be seen everywhere from music to the food industry. Basically, it affects everyone. Some people think that it is a great thing while others assume it to be a problem. So in this article, we’ll try to cast some light onto this problem for you to understand it better.

What Is Globalization?

  It is almost certain that everyone thinks they know what globalization is. The problem is, a large amount of literature on the issue has made it more and more difficult to define. At first, it was easy, now- not so much. Its definition varies depending on the perspective you are looking at it from. Generally, though, it is the process where the transnational actors undermine the sovereignty of the national state depending on direction, power, network, and identities. Think of it as a social change that is slowly, but surely, diminishing physical boundaries through culture and social aspects, making the world a village. Without physical limitations, people can interact better and share their information. So how does globalization in education affect the world?

The Educated Labor Force No Longer Work Just In the Developed Countries

  Today, education is not just for the rich and well-off people. It is also for the underprivileged. Today, governments from developing countries are creating opportunities for their populations to at least acquire the necessary education. Most governments are making primary and secondary learning free. Therefore, schooling is no longer just in developed countries. The developing ones are also catching up. As a result, these countries experienced a decrease in poverty levels and crime, increases in economic growth and improved quality of life.

Contributes To Economic Expansion

  Numerous examples can be used in countries that have grown as a result of globalization and its impact on education.  Higher education literally generates economic growth. Each year higher education adds billions of dollars to the economy of a country. People get knowledge, and that allows them to earn more money. Institutions are bound to grow even more in future because schooling is slowly becoming a critical part of every country’s economy.

  Another way of education contributing, although indirectly, to the economy is through many an essay writing service. These companies provide help with essay writing for students, but there is much more to them. Students buy college essays online, pay money to the agency, and the agency in its turn has to pay taxes. Since the popularity of such service grows drastically with each year, companies make more money, open branch offices, and as a result, develop the economy.

It Is a Basis of Global Stability

  As a result of education, children are developing multicultural awareness. It, therefore, helps them integrate ideologies from different societies to have a reliable conclusion of issues that face the world. It is because of education and globalization that students are prepared to have a prosperous future where all nations continue to be connected. Education has been at the forefront of helping curb racism, sexism, and different phobias. Since all students receive education in the same classes regardless of their color, gender, health, etc., they learn to embrace others and not discriminate them. For example, students from UK may need to find Passport agency London to get their first passport.

Connects the Worldwide Methods of Teaching and Systems

  Today, students are traveling far and wide for higher education. For instance, students in USA will get education In India or Europe. This courage helps to create international development and environmental stability that is an excellent contribution towards the globalization or businesses and industries. Schooling today is used to prioritize global access right from primary to university. It instigates the learning processes to ensure that learners are ready for multinational leadership and jobs.

Creates a Holistic Approach to Systems

  Globalization focuses mainly on the holistic understanding of processes and a holistic approach to finding solutions to issues. These interdisciplinary research approached are a critical path toward the achievement of comprehensive perceptions of the complexity and the realities that are currently facing the systems in the world.

Increases the Number of Trained Professionals

  The educated people that graduate each year improve the industries because they increase the number of qualified professionals in the market. Most emerging economies are based on the knowledge of production and the demands of each sector and how the employees are highly trained in both technology and science. Students are also encouraged to the world in a team which makes each group of employees tightly neat. Working in teams requires students to learn to compromise, persuade, debate and gain both management and leadership skills. It helps break all the boundaries of space and time to improve the economies and increase competition.

Understand the current visa and passport systems

  Global citizens should be aware of the power of passport legislation. Legal papers like passports, birth/marriage certificates, and other government issued IDs are widely used documents. How to prepare material for the science conference step by step

Nowadays, information flows not only on the Internet but also on the gathering of people such as conferences, roundtables and networking events. It gives you the opportunities to catch up with the latest trends in the industry and get acquainted with the specialists that you wanted to get to know or have never heard before. What if you would like to organize something on your own? That would be great, but the question arises “What to do?” Don`t worry, as we decided to give you seven steps to writing success resources and conference planning, so you can arrange the venue on your own.

  • Start with the theme

It seems to be the easiest task, but in reality, it is not. Choosing the topic of your conference might be a very tricky thing to do. If the theme is not “wide” there might be too many people coming to it or in reverse – nobody will come. Decide what aspects you want to cover on this event; what are the most important issues for the discussion and which of them will be interesting to the public at the current moment. Try to trigger the emotions of the participants. Make topic sound like a good catchy phrase that stays in their minds and touches hearts of the audience. Do not make it long, as when it comes to social media promotion, you will need to use hashtags and logos with the name of the conference, and it might cause troubles if it is too big.

If you have several subtopics in the main theme – divide them by sections and arrange the tickets accordingly. Each subtopic may have separate stages, time and speakers which must be reflected in the conference program template. Make it clear to your guests which platform is doing what and which speaker is present there.

  • Create your A-team

Nobody can do everything on his/her own. This refers to organizing the conference as well. For effective functioning of the event, you will need the list of the people, who will be responsible for the administrative part.

First of all, arrange your planning team. These people should create the whole schedule of the conference, make preliminary arrangements with the speakers, talk to other teams about their roles and supervise them constantly; they are also responsible for catering, accommodation, decorations, and guests.

Secondly, choose your marketing team. Good marketing strategy should boost the interest to your conference and make your tickets be sold out before it starts. These specialists should choose channels of communication that will grow the number of potential visitors and also be responsible for the whole commercial side of the venue, including sales of the merchandise.

Thirdly, gather your administration team, which will be responsible for budgeting, registration, helping during the event and all the technical aspects of it.

One of the essential parts is the sponsorship team, which deals with the investors and persons, interested in funding you. They should find the lacking money for you.

Volunteers are inevitable parts of each conference. You can find those who are eager to help you almost everywhere if you offer them free tickets. Try to talk to students – they are always fond of that. You can motivate them that they can learn how to write a conference paper, without the use of any fast essay writing service. You will see that there are many of those, who are willing to help.

  • Prepare a business plan

A good and detailed business plan is the key to success. Do your budgeting right. One of the main aims of the conference is to bring you some profit, for that you need to count your fixed and variable costs. For, an example to the fixed cost of the event you can refer: rent; merchandise cost; salaries and compensations of the speakers, etc. To the variable costs, you can add transportation; marketing campaign costs; catering etc.

When planning the budget be realistic. Try to take into account what are the prices and what you can negotiate. Remember that all of the contracts can be discussed. Also if you have a decent business plan – you can see how much of the investment you will need.

  • Find sponsors and grants

If you need additional resourcing, you can search for the potential investors, who can benefit from you. Think about most known players in the sphere or industry that might be interested in your topic. Do the conference presentation to them and highlight the pros of participating in it. Maybe, they could pay you for the stand at the conference hall or share the profits from it with you once they put their money to it.

Remember, it is very important that you save the balance between your main theme and the investors` interests.

  • Book the place

The location of the conference is very important. Sure thing, the better the location – the higher is the possibility that all of the participants will come. Depending on the number of people and theme you can rent: hotels, student campuses; conference halls, etc. Take into the account: transportation, facilities, size, and accommodation. Make the place comfortable and cozy.

  • Arrange catering

Food and lunch breaks are essential for the informal talk. Especially, when the conference lasts for the whole day or several days. If you do not want them to leave early and miss a thing – think of the decent catering that will leave their stomach full and satisfied. What is more, do not include alcohol until the informal part or the end of the venue.

  • Line up your speakers

Each presenter should know the schedule and stick to it. Give the speaker precise knowledge of topic and questions to cover and give them a certain amount of time. Nobody should meddle into the order of the event or violate the time frames. Also, ask each of them what kind of compensation they want and what technical support they would need from you. Maybe there will be some need for additional equipment after all.

Will AI and VR Classrooms Start to Become More Encountered in the Near Future?

The world has seen massive leaps and bounds in technology in the modern age. The computers that were once as large as rooms now fit in a pocket. A conversation that would have once taken weeks to mail back in forth can now happen in seconds. The classroom hasn’t missed out on these innovations either.

What Changes Has the Classroom Already Seen?

Classrooms and the way students study today are leagues different than they once were. For example, when a student is writing an essay, they don’t have to read through a tall stack of books to find the information they need. Instead, all they have to do is a quick online search to find out anything they need to know.

Even younger children benefit from technology. The overhead projector with transparent slides of yesteryear have been transformed into touch screen boards and review games have moved online.

Teachers and students have moved onto higher tech options for a variety of reasons. For one, they help to teach students in a more engaging way and they provide an ease that wasn’t always available.

Additionally, the technology that is introduced into the world are important for children to learn. While the gadgets and software that are released while they’re in school probably won’t be identical to what they use as adults, there is an important lesson in teaching them new mechanics: the ability to adapt to new things.

What Are AI and VR?

Artificial intelligence, or AI, is something that is often heard about. It is equally lauded and complained about. After all, computers that are designed to imitate human intelligence are both inspiring and, to some, frightening. In truth, though, they offer plenty of opportunity.

Virtual reality, or VR, is also an intriguing process. It allows a computer to create a digital world that is getting ever closer to being just as real as the world around you.

While AI comes in many different forms, VR is used in the form of a headset. This is typically paired with headphones for more accurate surround sound. At more advanced levels, VR is used with additional technology such as tilting chairs or treadmills to further immerse users in the virtual reality they’ve entered.

AI in the Classroom

Asking if AI will become a major part of the classroom is almost delayed because it is already starting to be ingrained in it. There are several examples of this. A basic example would be a software that helps students study and adapts depending on what parts of the curriculum they show strength and weakness in.

Another example would be automating tasks such as grading. This, in particular, is a growing area as AI gets “smarter” and can answer more open-ended questions. AI that can grade essay questions rather than just simple multiple choice could help teachers handle large classrooms better. It could also help students learn their grades much faster.

AI and Teachers

The biggest question when it comes to AI is always if it will take jobs. The argument behind this is that if a computer can do all the tasks of a job and don’t need to be paid a wage, why not?

While AI could help teach a course eventually, it is more likely to be used as an aid rather than a replacement. This is because teachers do much more than simply teach. They offer support to students and, as of right now, are better at adapting to emotional cues than AI can. If a student isn’t paying attention during a lesson or is showing signs of giving up on a topic, a human teacher can respond to these changes better than current AI can.

VR in the Classroom

VR is slightly less common in classrooms right now but it shows great potential. The most obvious benefit of VR is that it is extremely engaging. When a student is in a VR lesson, they have the ability to explore.

It’s also trading a traditional lesson for an experience. A VR headset can be used to have in-classroom field trips which can be much more effective than listing facts to students from a textbook.

Drawbacks of AI and VR in the Classroom?

If AI and VR are so promising, why aren’t they seen in every classroom around the world?

The biggest problem is cost. Since AI and VR are newer fields, many of the newest options come with a high price. This is particularly a problem in schools with low funding. Much like other problems of schools struggling for funds, this can put students at a disadvantage.

Conclusion

VR and AI definitely have a place in the classroom and that place is growing. These are useful tools that enhance the learning experience. You can expect to see more AI- and VR-fueled classrooms in a nearer future than you might think.
