Find Periodic Frequent Patterns:a new method based on periodicity

Abstract

Most of the existing frequent pattern mining algorithm does not consider the time stamps associated with the transactions. We believe that the temperory periodicity of pattern appearance can be regarded as an important criterion for measuring the interestingness of frequent patterns in several applications. We proposed a new method based on time stamp as periodicity.Example illustrating the validness of the proposed approach. The characteristics and merits of the algorithm are discussed.
