The Selection Schemes in the Sensor Networks for Cooperative Communications

Abstract

Since the relays are typically small, power limited and low cost in sensor network, increasing the number of relays will improve the performance of the system. But this will also use more power. We believe that the system efficiency can be enhanced by selecting relays of better conditions. Here we proposed a method based on dimension reduction method to find the "strong" relay and have archieved acceptable tradeoff between better power and Bit Error Rate (BER) performances.
