Optimal Filtering for Target Tracking
Abstract
The object tracking is needed in many tasks such as video compression, surveillance, automated video analysis. There are tons of tracking algorithms, such as the correlation analysis, mean shift, etc. Here we proposed a method based on the Kalman filter. The target model is updated step by step. This method is verified in several experiments.
