Strategic Productivity by Marketable Technology
Abstract
Continuous training, employment security, performance appraisal and alternative compensation systems can motivate skilled employees to engage in effective discretionary decision making and behavior in response to a variety of environmental contingencies. Organizations can make imperfect observations about a technology performance. Productivity is often described with ample justification, as the secret of technology success, economic progress and increasing wealth. Consequently, by basing pay on technology performance, organization might achieve higher technology productivity than pay that is a simple time-based rate, e.g., daily or hourly. This article attempts to explain the strategic productivity by marketable technology behavior of the technology managers by linking it with the fixed patterns of thinking. Copyright © www.iiste.org
