THE EXISTENCE OF ADAT LAW COMMUNITY IN INDONESIAN LEGAL REGULATIONS

Abstract


As a developing country, Indonesia continues to undergo such a very significant change over time. In the similar vein, globalization is shaping a new world order as a result of various enormous changes taking place in the world... adat law community has a different term that is used commonly. Those terms are native society, adat society, and primitive society (called Bumi Putra). Adat law community itself is a translation of term coming from Dutch “adatrechtsgemeenschap.” Beside adatrechtsgemeenschap, there is also temr of indigenous people.
