The objective of the study is to determine the effectiveness of Atkins diet by measuring the weight before and after practicing the diet. The method used was a cross-sectional study. The finding showed that there was statistically significant difference between weights before and weight after. Thus, low-carbohydrate and high-protein and fat diet (Atkins diet) was effective.
