Simple and Efficient One Pot Solvent Free Synthesis of 3,4-Dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-Ones and Thiones by using Ionic Liquid at Reflux Condition
Abstract
A simple and efficient method for the one-pot Biginelli condensation reaction of aldehydes, ????-dicarbonyl compounds, and urea or thiourea is developed by using ionic liquid catalyst at reflux under solvent free condition.
