The Effect of Organizational Commitment and Organizational Culture on Employee Performance through Employee Satisfaction (Study of Gondanglegi Islamic Hospital of Malang)

Abstract


Employee performance is the quantity or quality of the work of an individual or group within the organization in carrying out the main tasks and functions that are guided by the norm, the standard of procedure and the criteria that have been established or applied in the organization. The aim of this research is (1) description of organizational commitment variable, organizational culture, job satisfaction and employee performance at gondanglegi malang hospital, (2) direct influence of organizational commitment, organizational culture and job satisfaction on employee performance, Indirect influence of organizational commitment and organizational culture on employee performance through employee job satisfaction. Analyzer used in this research is path analysis (Path Analysis). The results of the study shows that (a) organizational commitment and organizational culture have a significant influence on job satisfaction (b) organizational commitment and organizational culture have a significant effect on employee performance (c) job satisfaction has no significant effect on employee performance (d) organizational commitment and organizational culture have significant influence on employee performance through employee job satisfaction.
