A Path to Earn Citizenship of the United States and National Security in the First Term of President Obama

Abstract


The aim of this article is to evaluate the Immigration Policies of President Obama in his first term to pursue whether or not his immigration policies could meet the security objectives of the United States. For this purpose, the article has used secondary data and sources with the main emphasis on the security measures of President Obama’s immigration legislation in his first term of office. The study shows that President Obama’s immigration policies can indeed promote the domestic security of the United States. The paper also offers some suggestions for improvement of the immigration policies.
