Abstract


It would not have been possible to successfully complete this thesis without the hard work and dedication of my advisors, Business and Economics College (BECO) post graduate program coordinator, Jimma town water supply and sanitation n agencies, Jimma town municipality and the support of many other individuals. I am indebted to all of them.  First and for most, I would like to express my sincere and wholehearted gratitude to my advisors,  Shimelis Zewudie (PhD) and Wondesen siyoum (Assistant professor) to their genuine, professional advice from the inception to completion of this thesis.I am also very much grateful to them for their critical review of each and every piece of the work and constructive comments. I would also like to thanks all my friends for their moral supports and encouragement for the success of this paper. My special thanks go to my soul mate Misrak Kebede for her initiation, encouragement and moral support in the completion of this thesis.
