The results of this study indicate that the estimates of the degree of secondary school principals` commitment in Ma'an Governorate to the quality standards of governance from their teachers` perspectives ranged within the moderate level. The standard of institutional integrity has ranked first, followed by the standard of management and leadership, then the standard of learning and teaching. Moreover, there aren’t any statistically significant differences (α ≥ 0.05) attributed to the years of experience variable in all domains. On the other hand, there are statistically significant differences (α ≥ 0.05) attributed to the qualification variable in the institutional integrity domain, in favor of the bachelor holders. In addition, there are statistically significant differences (α ≥ 0.05) attributed to the gender variable in the learning outcomes domain, in favor of females. The study recommends the necessity of activating quality standards of governance in public schools by urging school principals to adhere to these standards.
